When I was in 4th grade, I went on a cruise and it was a lot of fun. Also, one time me and my friend spent the night on my pontoon on the lake I live on (it was attached to our dock)and it was a lot of fun except that the floor was a little wet and we woke up a little damp.
-My experience on a boat was very fun. When I was on the boat I went tubing which means most of the time I was in the water in the tube. So the only times I ever go on a boat is when I am tubing nothing else.
I went to Duluth and my dad really wanted to tour Lake Superior on a boat. We sat on the deck near the railing that day. Unfortunately it was really cold and windy that day, especially with the speed of the boat increased the cold. We weren't prepared and my brother and I were freezing.
My experience on a boat was where I drove the boat and it was easy to turn, but it was hard to reverse the boat because it was hard to see when people was in your way.The boat was nice and smooth, but a little bumpy.
My experience on a boat was during the 6th or 5th grade. Our school went on a boat ride through the Mississippi River. It was a science class field trip to study what lives by the river.
One time i was on a boat with my friends. She is rich well very close to being rich, and a couple of us girls went tubing, and my best friends pants almost fell down so she had to let go of the tube so she could pull them up. It was so fun her dad was going extremely fast so no wounder why her pants fell down.
One time I went fishing on a boat, it was great. It was with my aunt, uncle, brother, parents, and two dogs (one was a lab and one was a golden retriever). I caught a small mouth bass and 8 other fishies, unlike my father who only caught one. Yes, that was the day that I was the provider for the family. However, the golden retriever kept trying to eat the fish. I really hate golden retrievers, they're the most stupid breed I know of. The lab was nice though, she was actually cute. She was calm unlike the other dog. When we're done fishing, we went back to my aunt's house and had the fish for dinner. Heres a picture of me and the bass I caught: http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww84/Fluffymuffincakes/Happybirthdaychristmasfish.png
- I was a on the lake . it was the summer time and it was hot . We seen all kinds of fish in the water. People fishing. a little later on in the day we went to the middle of the lake and went swimming . We used water tubes. my cousin had a little accident on the boat and had to go to the hospital .
An experience on a boat is when I went fishing with my family at a lake. We had went far out into the middle of the lake, then we had to be kind of quiet so that we didn't scare the fish away. Then after that we got to jump off of the boat and swim for a while.
Alright. One time I was going through this one straight... From France to Britain, I think. And on the way there it was nice and calm, the waves were this dark teel color, very deep and saturated. I slept all the way there. On the way BACK though, oh my lordy lou it was a bit stormy outside so the ship rocked back and forth. It was sickening. It wasn't gentle or anything, the ship moved in juttery motions... It sucked.
Over this last summer me and me friends were on a boat just for a joy ride watching people wake-board or tube and things like that. Anyways it was fun to just watch, but the driver of the boat turned so hard that the front of the boat almost submerged under the water and got us all wet it was funny, because he kept trying to do it over and over again, but failed every time after that it was really fun. - Chumani Wayd
I was on a boat and we were on the mississippi river. It was a motorboat and i got to drive it. The turning on the boat is slow. When we were on the river there was a tree floating down the river and we had to go pass it. We didn't go fishing that time.
When I went to camp I got to ride on a speed boat I sat in the front of the boat and it was coming out of the water but it was a lot of fun. I also got to go on a big paddle boat on lake minnetonka and stand on the top while it was windy.
First of all, I am a dish washer/random task worker at a camp in the summer. The only way to get to the camp is to either weed whack all the way around the lake (1-2 walk), or you can take a boat, or canoe. The other thing you need to know is that we have food orders where a industrial truck comes and drops off enough food for 100 people to last for half a week. We take the 100's of pounds of food on pontoon boats.
One time, there was a huge storm (no lightening luckily), and the food was delivered. We brought tarps to cover the flour and everything else that could be ruined by rain. The boat started at a medium pace, but we had to stop suddenly when the front of the boat started to go under water. Everything turned out okay, but it was pretty scary when we thought that they boat would be stuck at the bottom of the east bearskin lake for the rest of our lives.
the summer before last, I went on a trip to Mexico. It was very awesome in general, but one great memory was taking a boat trip through these floating gardens. I can't remember exactly where it was but it was cool. The boats were a lot like pontoons; wide and flat with a building in the center and plenty of space surrounding it to lounge in the sun. We went down a slow-moving creek past lush willows and towering tropical plants. Also, someone had gathered a bunch of the heads to baby dolls and hung them from a tree. it was equally hilarious and unnerving
I went to camping a while ago back! and we went canoeing and we had a lot of fun until one of my friends decided she wanted to go by herself and got in to a different a canoe and got into it incorrect and fell in the water! :) It was hilarious.

ReplyDeleteThe only boat I've ever been on is a pontoon that my dads friend owns.
ReplyDeleteI fell off, my sister got sick, and my dad lost his hat. It was not pleasant.

ReplyDeleteA boat is not for everyone. It an awesome place to just relax, but you also need to be aware of your surroundings.
