Describe two of the most memorable readings in your life (books, comics, website, letters, poems, magazines, emails, etc.)? Why are these readings memorable?
Two readings that were most memorable in my life is the book Copper Son and Things Fall Apart. Those are the memorable books in my life because I actually liked the books that we were reading. Also the books were interesting.
The book The Last Song, the book The Lovely Bones, and the Pretty Little Liars books are really good books. They were memorable because they all had really good stories. The Lovely bones was really good because it kind of mixed things that could happen in real life with things that can't. Both The Last song, and all of the Pretty Little Liars books are things that could actually happen in real life.
Two of the most memorable readings were both impacting. One was when I was in art class and we were supposed to find pictures through the National Geographic. The article was about what Japanese fishermen did to dolphins in Japan's coasts. They lured them to the coast then got them somehow to the shore and then started killing them. The ones in the water they would cut off their fins. Why? All because they were competition to the fishermen and were eating a lot of the fish. Do we kill each other? We are all competition to each other as well so why kill a defenseless creature because it is trying to survive just like we are. Another impacting reading is when I read Speak. For some reason it will be memorable for me.
Hmmmm well of course there is Harry Potter. I've probably read this series two or three times and it's awesome. but Harry Potter is sort of a given. I've also read 1984 which I really liked. I don't read a whole lot of books but I remember that one vividly. It''s a classic so I don't think I really need a reason as to why I think it's so good. especially since there are so many allusions to it in other things and it seems like I'm the only person who gets them. Other great books include the Tao of Pooh, the Golden Compass, and No Country for Old Men. oh and Looking for Alaska. that was a REALLY GOOD BOOK
One book of the most memorable books that I have ever read was Copper Sun. I like this book because they describe things well, and make you feel as if you are there.
Another memorable thing that I've read was a poem called Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou. I like this poem because it like has this flow to it. Plus my grandmother told when that when she dies, she would want me to say this poem to her, because it's one of her favorite poems.
one memorial reading this one book i can't remember it was called but it was about a boy who loved and he alwayz wanted money. I also like how the words were wrote in the book
I read this book called the pact and that book is memorable because it has a good story about young black men who set goals in their life and make a pact with each other and commit to and and in the future they go from the hood to having successful jobs.
Another reading is psalms 24 in the bible. I remember that the most because when i got out the hospital my mom read that scripture to me and ever since then its meet with my life and when something feels hard for me to go through i think back to that scripture to get some encouragement.
The first is a book series by Clive Barker, called Abarat. I love these books, and the reason they're memorable is because I read them every single time I'm at an art block. When I say every time I mean every time. Two weeks ago I needed those books, so I left my house, waited outside for the bus in freezing cold weather for 20 mins, just to get to the library for this books. The other one is called Keys to The Kingdom and the Abhorsen series, both by Garth Nix. These books exploit whole worlds that have been thought out to every detail. It's so believable, the characters all have a wide range, and all of them are REAL.
Harry Potter is the most memorable series I've ever read. I will never forget about that book. It's probably the best story ever. I like those books because they have good stories and they never got boring.
1. Animal Farm For some reason I really connected with this book, even though I was young when I read it. I think i would understand it more now.
2.Enders Game I really loved this book, but i never finished it. I would love to go back and re read it. I read it in the 5th grade and I think I would understand it more if I re read it again now, same with animal fam,
- I have so many books I have read it's hard to choose. There are so many to count. I have to say one of my favorite books I have read was "Copper Sun." Other things I like reading are journals that my grandma wrote in because it helps me remember her. But I like to read things that are true and interesting.
One book that was the most memorable that I have ever read was "All things fall apart". This book was the most memorable because it had to do with african folk tales which I am very interested in.
The most momorable thing I have ever read well there was this book in 7th grade called "Stormbreaker" ever since that book I have read all of the others in the series. Another book was "The Swan Kingdom" When I first started reading that book I couldn't put it down litarlly my friend had to pry the book from my hand to get me to an in class project. I have read all of the books that the author has written.
The most memorial book I read is the skin I'm in. That is the best book ever it's just a touching book to read it makes you want to shed a tear. Another one is the lyrics to Trey Songz Last time I don't know why but the lyrics hit me.
The two most memorable books I have read are the uncut version of The Stand, because it is the longest book I have ever read, but it didn't feel long because it was really interesting. Another one would be Animal Farm, it was interesting, shocking, and sad all at the same time.
The most memorable readings that I have read has been a letter from my uncle before he died and the poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee.
The letter from my uncle was sent me about drug use. He let me know how important it is to stay away from drugs. The thing that made it different from a parent or family telling to stay away from drugs was that he was a user, and died from heroin use a few weeks after sending the letter.
The poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee is important because it talks about doing what you want in life. In the poem, Sam McGee is a person who mushes dogs because he wants the money, but he hates his job. At the end of the poem he dies doing what he hates. I don't want to be that type of person. I don't want to die miserable and rich, I would rather die happy and poor. I realized that I'm not going to take a miserable job, I would rather do things I really want to do in life.
Dude, I just lost all that I wrote. To sum up what I did say, I find comics more memorable because they have pictures and books we read in school because we do a lot of work with them.
-One of the most memorable readings that I have done in my life is reading a book named Copper Sun. this is a book that I read fully and that I actually liked. -The other memorable reading that I did was on May 13,2000. That was the year that my favorite uncle had got shot 12 days after my birthday. I read this on the news with my mom early the next morning.
Two memorable readings in my life were the book talk Cooper Sun and the series of Bluford because those books was an interesting books that had good detail that catches my eyes. That was the most time that I ever want to read more about those books.
- I forgot the name if the book but it was rememberable because I actually liked it and it was a scary kind of book . I like horror it was mysterious . Those things kind of catch my attention .
