One personal connection I have already made with the book is when he decides to be a Christian. My family and I are Christian. Another connection to the book is that the character Pi is my age in the book.
Well lately I have been having an increased interest in religion. I don't think I will be practicing like Pi, but It's just fascinating to learn about different religions and Life of Pi is certainly interesting in that regard. I have also never really considered the idea of someone who is poly religious so that's nice and all.
I'm making connections because I love animals, even though I don't know a lot about them. Also, I can also relate to him wanting to know about all religions and practicing them.
Im making personal connections with the Life of Pi because of the religion that he talks about, are like the religions that we talk about in some of my classes.
I really don't not have any connections with life of Pi yet. I have couple similarities with Pi,we are the same age, and we also have a love for animals just like I do. I do not have any connection with his religious beliefs right now because i don't know what I even believe in yet.So there is not that much i can really say.
Personal connections is that he was born with a religion that he was raised into which is why he believes it. I was born in Catholic religion which is why I believed it until I began thinking of my own. He started thinking on his own as well. He also has a name that is unique and not always pronounced right.
-Even though I have not read none of this book yet but I feel like I have some connections with the book. The first connection that I have is Pi and I are the same age. Also we both tigers. That is my connections with this book.
Im not really making any personal connections because i haven't really been paying attention to it. One connection off the back is that im christian and he explores the christian religion.
A connection I have with Pi is that he went to a religious school like I did. Both of us are also interesting in animals and believe that same thing about people's opinion on zoo's.
I am kind of making personal connections because I kinda feel the same way about religion that you dont have to just stick to one. I can also relate to the animal side of this story because I love them :D
I would guess that both he and I are teenagers, and that I'm interested in religion. Although, I'm not interested in a spiritual sense, I just like knowing a general range of information. Pi is a very interesting character, I think, so another connection I can make it just that he's interesting.
I think that the connection that I have with this book is that I don't if I want to be apart of a religion. It's not like I don't believe in god or anything it's just that I don't know if I want to be in a certain religion. That Is how I connect with the book Pi.
