Definitely these astronomy books I had. I think I had like two or three, and they were all huge, like 12 by 18 inches or something, with big pictures and such. I really loved science at a young age (well I still do) and I was fascinated by space. I probably read looked over those books dozens if not hundreds of times, reading all the facts about planets and such.
also Harry Potter, that was more in my adolescent years.
-My favorite book from my childhood is Copper sun. The reason I say that is because that book caught my attention right when I opened the book on like other books. That is why I like the book Copper Sun. I know that is not a children book but I can not remember any of them so I choose Copper sun. I watched movies most of the time.

My favorite book was something about sleepy squirrels. The books was on board pages and cut in a weird shape. I don't remember much about it but I remember that the squirrels were really creepy. The story was about a squirrel who didn't go to sleep until it's father told it a story. I made my dad read me this book almost every night before I went to bed. I'm pretty sure there are other books I like but this is the first that comes to mind.

But man, did I ever love those books.
